two caves: Pythagoras' and St. John's

presumably it has been noticed before?
from the "Cave of the Apocalypse" on Patmos, it is in fact possible to see in the distance the location of the Cave of Pythagoras on the southern side of Mt. Kerkis.
those who have Sainted "John of Patmos" (aka ...the Theologian, ...the Divine; but truly the author of the Gospel?) and converted the Cave of "apocyptic" visions into an Orthodox Church to serve more mundane realities, are unlikely to have been thoughtful of Pythagoras, though one of his caves has a chapel, as just across the sea and perhap visible.

two caves. two "mythic" influential figures who influence deeply all subsequent history, however little is clearly and certainly known about either man
the caves almost face each other

Pythagoras: magic, mystic, philosopher, mathematician...
St. John: Evangelist (?, unlikely) of "In the Beginning, God...", and ~"At the Ending, God...", Visionary who dictated the Book of Revelations, which dramatically and drastically influenced and inspired most areas of culture in subsequent history...
